The Cryin'

From the LP titled, The Fifth Voice: Music From the 5th City Festival, the earliest public recording of our songs that I am aware of.

Much of the powerful poetry in this song reflects the impact that Nikos Kazantzakis' book, Saviors of God, had on us.

Gordon, thank you so much for posting this. It is just as relevant today as almost 40 years ago.

Who is the singer??

I no longer have the LP to verify this (only a cassette I recorded from it), but my recollection is that it was Len Dressler, our North Shore colleague of Jolly Green Giant fame. If that's not right, someone correct me.

It is Len Dressler, our North Shore colleague of Jolly Green Giant fame. He supported us in many ways. We often had meetings at his house or stayed there when developing LENS and other programs.
